We are always excited to be able to visit Jack & Jill School and try to go once a year to take whatever supplies the school is need of.  During our visits our volunteers have done work that the school has needed, such as painting walls, small repairs, attending school celebrations and teacher training workshops.

If you would like to help us fund any of the supplies we take or the work we do please get in touch.  Taking actual items will depend a lot on what we can fit in our cases, but donating funds means we can buy in the supplies when we are in Choma.

We have been very fortunate over the past few years to have received donations from The Keswick Lions, Newlaithes Primary School, Carlisle Rosegrove Infants School, Burnley and St Peter and St Paul’s School, Rishton. Between them over the years they have contributed more than £15.000 which ahs helped the school to extend, expand and grow to where it is now. This year (2025) St Andrew’s Infant School Leyland and St Peter and St Paul’s School Rishton are working very hard to help us to raise funds to dig a bore-hole on the school grounds to provide clean water for the school. Our target is £3500. So far St Andrew’s Infant School has raised a massive £1522.55 and Keswick Lions have added a further £500. We are very grateful for their continued generous support.

If you think you could help please get in touch

It is still important that we continue to help with sponsoring the education of children whose families cannot afford to send them to school.

We have a number of sponsors who each support a child to attend the school for a year at a time.  It costs an average of £168 per child for a full year.

Would you like to get involved? Perhaps you could sponsor a child or help support the school.
